New year, new venture for Artificial Intelligence.

I’ve read somewhere on google that 2024 is going to become AI’s “Leap Forward” which means there will be a rapid rate of growth for this technological advancement, becoming more powerful and spreading into the physical world.

Chatbots Expanding Beyond Digital Text

I made a subscription in the ChatGPT recently, I wanted to see what type of other data it can provide me aside from delivering information with my prompts.

DALL-E is a wild idea in my opinion, now I know why people are so crazy about exploring this specific tech and why there’s so many AI generated images on the internet right now. Aside from being amusing, it also allows you to play with your own ideas and the internet without doing too much work with keyword research. In case you didn’t notice, recently ChatGPT had a little bit of upgrades again which caused a temporary downtime.

The internet went crazy of course, running to twitter to talk about how the chatbot is not working.

And that’s not the end of it, A.I.-powered image generators like DALL-E are expected to instantly deliver videos as well as still images that will gradually merge with chatbots like ChatGPT. These developments have already started emerging but 2024 is the year it will be boosted and will be introduced more to the public for further usage.

A.I Transformative Mission

A.I. ‘s role in different industries is something to look forward to, with more companies improving their A.I to integrate it into their systems.

Tech companies especially are eager to feed their A.I. systems have more data, like more text, images and sound. Allowing them to solve more complex problems, technically preparing them for life in a distant future.

But, do not worry. Even with all these advancements with A.I. Experts in the field do not think that it will replace the human brain anytime soon. Everything about Artificial Intelligence right now is still in its early stages, which means there is still a lot of time for each industry to prepare themselves before it can fully be integrated into all the existing systems possible.

Significant Shift in the Legal Sector

Clients these days seek out firms that offer the most efficient, high-quality solutions for their legal needs which can become a critical differentiator in the competitive legal market.

And with the legal profession undergoing a significant transformation, AI is slowly becoming an integral part of complex legal processes by providing help in outlining briefs, getting materials organized and many more.

In the United Arab Emirates, the “Smart Courts” innovation project launched by the Ministry of Justice is creating noises as this is another huge milestone for the country when it comes to technology advancements. Not to mention the continuous increase in legal startups that are maximizing their chance to experiment with innovative solutions using the country’s regulatory sandboxes.

Adding to the list is the surge in the software tools that law firms are utilizing to efficiently organize their offices.

The use of technology seems to be lifting a lot of burden from legal professionals, and using a case management software like Vision Law System is one of the tools they’re heavily relying on these days. Especially in the country of United Arab Emirates, allowing them to effectively store their clients data and take advantage of its advanced features that integrate Artificial Intelligence.

The “Smart Search System” of Vision Law is one of the key features that makes it stand out among the rest in the industry because of its ability to accurately find data within the system with the help of A.I.

The future of legal practice in the hands of A.I seems to be brighter than what people are expecting it to be, with only the idea of complementing and not completely replacing it.

The thing is, A.I is not just about learning how to use a tool to complete a task.

Artificial Intelligence is also about this imperative of protecting the uninitiated from perilous missteps that might come from misuse of tools they do not understand. This is why bar associations and the legal education community are providing access to train those who need to become familiar with A.I.

Legal Practice in 2024

Looking ahead, providing the highest quality, most efficient and effective legal services to clients is always mandatory for legal professionals and believe it or not, it won’t be possible without AI in the near future.

Now we have something to look forward to in the legal profession.

Artificial Intelligence is the way, isn’t it?
